September or October res for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party?

I am currently booked for 10/16 - 10/22 at POR Riverside. I see the calendar has come out for September - with some limited offerings for Wishes and Electrical Parade… I have also read that Mickey’s Halloween Party gets busier as it gets CLOSER to Halloween.

The Party is a big priority for us - so I want to book when it will be least crowded…

Should I change date to 9/25 - 10/1 –

Also - I see October was blacked out for Free Dining - last year, so we may miss out if they do it the same this year?

Any advice?

I do not think you can count on any of the party’s not being sold out (so many seemed to be sold out last year). If you are hoping for free dining I would move my trip to September.

Agree with above. Also I’ve heard Tuesdays are less crowded party nights but with so many sell-out crowds who knows. I was at a Sunday party last September and seemed good to me but I wasn’t doing the popular character meets.
