Hello, we are considering this for April. I have been able to find shockingly view videos on the dessert parties but the one we did watch my kids were very excited about the ability to have a table. My father also cannot stand for long periods of time but will likely have an ECV.
Has anyone done this recently? Is the view very good but not great? Or just meh? I believe the tables are first come first served? How far in advance would we need to be? We would be a party of 6.
I was leaning towards the post-party but the ease of this party is also intriguing. We have not watched fireworks from near Main Street since 2019. We normally watch in Frontierland, so I think any front-view is an upgrade for my kids.
I have done it twice in the last year or two. Both times with groups of three. The tables for larger groups have been along the left side of the rail. It is funny, I have lined up 45 minutes before the time my reservation said. I was in no way among the first people in line, but it has worked for me.
Yes, it is not a straight on view but I have enjoyed this party. I have been to the before and after parties multiple times, I am ok with the view.
I mean, you can definitely see the projections better in these pictures than in Frontierland! I am not sure if any of us will know what we’re missing. It seems to be about the same distance away, right? Just not straight on?
