We are headed to WDW for Thanksgiving and booked a standard 1 bedroom at SS. We are DVC and usually stay at our home resort, Poly, so we don’t know much about SS. What do you guys recommend for a room request? I checked out the touring plans room finder plus resort description and the Grandstand area seem like a good choice since we will be relying on Disney Transportation but the touring plans room pick is in the Paddock. What do you think?
Folks really like the Paddock. I’d say to aim for building 12 since it is super close to Congress Park

I really like building 10 because it’s so close to the pool, the grill and the bridge to the Carriage House. It is also much quieter than you expect. It is right next to the Paddock bus stop, but if you are worried about it being full you could walk to the Carousel.

I went through my Disney room texts to find it:
This was a 1 bedroom. Paddock has an amazing pool and this building is very close to the Congress Park bus stop/ walk to DS.
