Has anyone attempted to pick up a to-go mobile order from Sanaa when not staying on-site? I am hoping to do so at the end of a park day next month to get my bread service fix, but I’m seeing a couple of recent reports online (from September) about being turned away at the entry gate.

I’ve never tried this, but I have to say for a resort that doesn’t have direct access to a park, I am always surprised how strict AKL lodge is about parking access.

Echoing what @melcort10 said, it might be safer to bus from the park to AKL? Then you can Lyft back (or bus transfer, etc). Bonus points for the park day being at AK.

I would but I’m limited on time that particular day so it would be easier to drive and stop by on my way out. If the consensus is that I might not be allowed entry, I’m considering just making a lunch reservation and eating the $10 no show fee (yes, the bread service is worth it!).

I wonder if you made the reservation and then asked for To Go if they would waive the fee? Worth asking!

I like this idea. Make a dinner reservation for 1 or 2 so you can get in and then tell them at Sanaa that you’ve decided you just want to take it to go at the restaurant check in.

This is what I would recommend doing. When you arrive just tell them you are taking it to go and they will waive the fee.
