We were scampering up and down our favorite tree this morning when Mom called us into the house to change because we are leaving for vacation!
Mom and Dad aren’t telling us where we are going but they said our human brother and sister will be there. 
Mom set off TSA security, AGAIN! Darn pants zipper. She forgot to wear elastic pants! We are waiting for our plane. We tend to fly out of SFO but we are at OAK right now.

We had a seafood lunch near the airport, Bluewater Grill. Fish tacos and salad with Scottish Salmon. All this for $75. 
Then we went for dessert! Chip wanted mocha almond fudge and Dale wanted raspberry cream.

There wasn’t that much food!
Soft serves made up for the lack of food at brunch: Matcha, strawberry, and Oreo. Sister was promising passion fruit and guava flavors but they just changed their menu! Still !
Then, Mom insisted on Takiyaki: red bean and Oreo.
Mom liked the Oreo one better because it was crisper.
We went to Costco to buy dinner and a new pan for sister.
We were laying on the floor resting in sister’s air conditioned house when Dad dragged us outside to hand wax sister’s car! It was hard work!
But Mom and sister made roasted broccoli, smashed potatoes, and steak for dinner! Mom needed the cast iron pan to cook the steaks. They kept on setting off the loud fire alarm! Sister’s housemate joined us for dinner. At least there was plenty of food! Sorry, we were starving and inhaled the food before we remembered to take a picture! Now, we need to sleep. Dad says he will take us somewhere fun tomorrow! Maybe brother will join us tomorrow?

Everyone we have met on the trip says we are cute!!
It is rice paper. Don’t order if you are hungry because you have to put the rolls together! Mom hates having to cook her own food or putting her food together at a restaurant. She says she’d rather sit and enjoy the food than to prep it for eating. Sister made Mom her rolls! The rolls with grilled pork were delicious!
