Royal Pacific- strange pricing

I just searched for a one night stay at Royal Pacific the last week of January, midweek. Does it seem odd that it says $1,006? Hard Rock is $614. I haven’t looked at pricing in a while. But I went last May and RP was $500 something. I’ve been out of touch since last year so maybe there is a reason for this?

Royal Pacific has probably run out of smaller rooms, and the only thing left are suites?

That made sense, but I looked again and it seems to be for all standard rooms.

Definitely something wrong there. Shouldn’t be more than Hard Rock. My first thought was it was a suite but you’re right it’s just a regular room. Can’t explain that.

I would wait to book. Prices will probably be adjusted down in a few weeks or so. They probably populate with top dollar beyond a certain timeframe. I noticed, for example, that just two weeks earlier prices are considerably lower. So maybe anything beyond 9ish months is higher.

The last few times I have booked I could find Portofino cheaper than RPR. Last September CL was 3x the Portofino cost.
