Hi all - my wife has a tomato allergy (not life-threatening) and I’m trying to figure out if we can still do Roundup Rodeo BBQ. Is there sauce already on the ribs and/or other meat items? If so, is it “contained” enough on the platter that she could eat the non-sauced items? Thanks in advance!

I just had to respond because my DH has a tomato allergy and it is such a pain. You think there’s plenty of foods without tomato but not actually. Many meats are prepared in something tomato based. So annoying.
He has been to Roundup and I don’t remember any issues. I believe they put the sauce on the side. Let me see if I took photos.

Here’s the photo. It doesn’t look like there’s any sauce on the meat and there is an allergy stick on the platter.

I ate at Roundup Rodeo BBQ in November. All of the sauces were in bottles at the table, and the meat comes plain.

I’m just here for solidarity. DH is a very plain eater and particularly vinegar averse. Pre-sauced/topped things makes it so much harder!
