Used the request feature twice in the past 6 weeks and got both of the requested rooms! Tower room at the GF and preferred room at POP. Got email confirmation from Disney that our requests were received, smooth as silk.

Out of curiosity, which preferred room at Pop. Going in a few weeks and I have preferred room and am struggling to make up my mind.
1950’s room 1254, 2nd floor close to main building and buses, quite as well.
