Room Request Boulder Ridge Studio?

Heading to Boulder Ridge WL, DLX Studio. Requested a “upper floor” or “highest floor” on the pre-check in.

  1. Any suggestions if there is a range of specific room numbers to try to get lake view?? or away from Elevators ??

  2. Reserved through the WDW website, not DVC. Is a special request room number entered by calling general reservations??

I used the room finder on touringplans to find a room I liked and then requested (Paraphrase): Room 3535 or another NE facing room on an upper level. I just used the room request button on my dashboard. I don’t know if/how it really works, but we got 3545 which was a lovely room with a lovely view from the balcony AND I only kinda glared at the people staying in room 3535 as we passed them in the hall one day!
