I hope it’s still running this fall! We won’t be back to Anaheim till either August or October.
I think I’m the only one in my family remotely interested in this. My DD10 has a grudge against Marvel & won’t see it & when it comes to Captain America my DH, DS11 & DS5 get upset about how things went down in Civil War (they are all huge Iron-Man, Spider-Man fans) so bc it centers around him, they have no interest either.
Maybe DD3 will sit down with me for some AC this summer? 
A summer run should include most if not all of August. I’ll be crossing my fingers for you!
Same. We have a trip booked for September. Hoping the show will still be playing.
Is this about Bugs Land? 
Not that I blame her! I do enjoy Marvel, but I also really, really miss Bugs Land, especially Heimlich’s Chew Chew Train! 
When in August? DD20 and I are planning a few days around August 20-22.
It is 
all about Bug’s Land. Heimlich’s yes but even more so It’s Tough to be a Bug. She got a kick out of that show even as a tiny tot so she went a 180 on liking Spider-Man to resenting him once Webslingers was being built on top of it.
Now see, I don’t really miss ITTBAB. But the rest of it … oh yeah, I miss it a lot!
I miss Flik’s Flyers SO much. I know Emotional Whirlwind is the same ride, but the views just aren’t the same.
I think DD’s favorite part about ITTBAB was how much I disliked it. I would sit through it for her but it made me wriggle. Not nearly as scarring & terrifying as the rat tails in Honey I Shrunk the Audience back in the day, but still pretty unpleasant.
It would likely be around Labor Day weekend. But who knows. John Williams is a different weekend this year (July) so it kind of screwed up my plans.

Aww bummer that John Williams change in schedule is messing with your plans. I do need to pick your brain sometime about where & how far in advance you got tickets for it. I’d love to do it one time and I imagine I’m only running out of years to do it so sooner will be better!
Non-season tickets for all Hollywood Bowl events go on sale on May 2nd this year (around the same time every year). You can buy people’s season tickets on Ticketmaster now but they are overpriced and risky, IMO.
John Williams also plays at several concerts annually in other locations around the globe, but I’ve never looked into attending one of those. They are further from me and more expensive (fewer seats + same demand = higher price per seat).
I made a mental commitment to attend every year as long as he still offers them. I’ve already said too much. 
Definitely would prefer not to buy on secondary market, so thanks for the info about May 2nd. On my way to look it up. My biggest challenge is that we’ve only gone a very few times to Cali without all the kids (and the last 2 times brought 1 kid with us) so one of the challenges will be how to split us up to do a concert like this. DH & DS11 would probably love it too but the other 3 kids would be interested for a few minutes, then be ready to leave.
