I have heard they have a ceremony to lower the flag on Main Street. Does anyone have more info on that, or know how they select the Veteran to help? Also do they have a flag raising ceremony also?

See https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/entertainment/magic-kingdom/flag-retreat/ . I saw it a couple years ago. Just a nice little ceremony done daily. Quite a few people watched, and maybe sung along. I do not know about how the veteran is selected. I don’t think they have a ceremony for raising it each day, since it’s always up when the park opens.
