Haven’t been to WDW in a hot minute; I’m surprising my graduating senior with a Disney cruise- she thinks we are going to WDW- I’ve been searching for a one-night stay pre cruise in a mod resort -no luck- seems like every resort is under refurbishment- is this the reason or is there something else happening the end of January?

A few resorts are undergoing refurbishment, but not all. I suspect the issue is a one night stay.

Thanks, I hadn’t considered that. I changed to 2 night stay, and there was more availability.

I can usually get one night with my AP but sometimes only at a ridiculous full price.

I am wondering, can you book a longer stay so that availability shows, and then modify the reservation down to a single night?

You could call to modify but usually you cannot do that online.

There is a large dance/cheer competition end of January at ESPN. That has more to do with availability than refurbishment.
