Haha maybe?? I assume their checked bag volume just dropped regardless.
I feel like I am among many who are shocked that it’s starting at Pop. I definitely would have thought they would bring this to an undersold deluxe.

I remember one SW flight leaving Orlando, and the captain said a few things before takeoff. One thing this captain said was
“and ladies, if your husband got you a Prada or a Dooney and Bourke purse, and you’re on this flight, that bag is probably fake”

I think about the number of people that stay at Pop and the number of rooms there. Maybe that’s why. Does it hold the most people?

Robert Plant. lead singer of Led Zeppelin, sat in front of me on a SW flight from Tampa to Nashville. He was in the C boarding group!
We were seated in the back few rows of the plane. NO ONE knew who he was…except my husband who was freaking out. He went back and asked the flight attendants if that was him and they said yes.
We were the last to get off the plane and they started playing “been a long time since I rock and rolled”. Robert Plant chuckled. I got a picture with him right before we got off the plane.
He proceeded to walk though the Nashville airport, unbothered.

I think you are right! The size and space of Pop I think makes it ripe for pilots. The bell services lockers is another one that comes to my mind. I’ll be curious if this goes anywhere! You can eke out at least another good hour on WDW property if you’ve checked all your bags at the hotel. Can’t deny that much. And it definitely makes it easier to go to a park on check-out day.
