Okay, so a friend of mine is travelling with her family and her cousin’s family on the Treasure this summer. The cousin’s reservation window opened recently and they were unable to get a reservation for 2 for Palo brunch. But they could get two reservations for 1 half an hour apart.
What the heck kind of seating is there that is only available for one?! Is there a bar or something? And if not why wouldn’t you be able to book the table for two? I’m so confused.

There is not that I noticed any tables for 1
That is really bizarre

The weirdness of Palo’s booking system strikes again! There is not any arrangement I’ve seen that would be exclusively for 1. But somehow this is a common bug of the Palo system that I’ve heard other people encounter.
It makes no sense. But if you book what you can for now and then speak to the dining team that first day, they should be able to sort you all out.

This probably isn’t the answer and I’m no expert having only cruised once.
Are they in separate cabins as singles?
I noticed when booking for our cruise last year that it would pull up a drop down menu of everyone in the cabin for me to add them to the extra bookings like Enchente and tastings.
So maybe if they are in separate cabins they can link their rooms to be able to book together?

That’s not at all a bad suggestion! DH & I have always needed to be in separate cabins to book our whole family and we’ve always been linked and I’ve never seen the issue, so separate cabins and linking might play into it somewhere!

That is a perfect thought!

No, it’s a couple staying in one cabin with their kid. Doesn’t really make sense at all.
