I tried to search for this and couldn’t find a clear answer. We will be going to USF one day this week from POR. This will be the first time I’ve ever used Uber. Can you request Uber driver the night before? Would there be drivers available around 7am to take 5 people to Universal? Thanks for your help.
I don’t think you need to request the night before. Uber and Lyft drivers usually stay in DS and are very close to POR.

I agree with @PrincipalTinker. We got Lyft several times around 6.30 and there were always quite a few drivers around (from POFQ).

We are back from our trip and had a great time despite the humidity!
We took Uber on several trips and loved it. Most of the drivers were very friendly and gave us tips on how to best utilize the service. We actually had the same driver on both mornings we went to Universal. I also decided to take Uber to HS for EMH so I didn’t have to worry about the bus getting there in time. Thanks for all your help.
