Removing Magic Band puck?

Hi all,
Any tips or tricks for removing the pucks from Magic Bands? We have the puck holders for our Apple Watches (from Etsy), but cannot get the pucks unscrewed from the bands. I thought maybe there is a trick or knack to it?! Thanks!

I recently read on chat that they are stubborn little suckers.

My hubby used a jeweler’s screwdriver and I he popped that little bugger out.
