We are planning to incorporate a day of USH
to our next Disneyland trip. Any recommendations on a place to stay?

I may be very late to this post, but Sheraton Universal Hotel is right next to Universal Studios and has a tram that takes you from the front of the hotel up to the entrance area of the park which is right up the hill. Also, besides hotel dining, you can take the tram up to Universal City Walk (think Downtown Disney) which has lots of restaurants and you don’t need park tickets to go. If Sheraton is over the budget, I believe the Beverly Garland Hotel is a short distance away. If staying at the Sheraton, request a room overlooking the studios which will give you a great view of the working studios down below and pieces of the park off to your right. Can you tell I worked in this Hotel for 5 years?
