Recommendations for what to do after parks close at 7 pm on our November Trip

Hello everyone,

Planning a trip for my husband and I, and my sister, her husband, and their two kids at Universal November 2-7. Staying at Cabana Bay. The parks all close at 7pm most nights (on Friday Epic will be open till 8). My sister’s family is used to Disney; they usually close down the parks at night. She’s asking me what we’ll do after 7 on these Universal nights. Last time my husband and I went to Uni the parks also closed at this time and we honestly just did the pool or killed some time at Target in the evenings but I’d like to give my sister some more interesting options. What do you guys usually do after the parks close? Wondering about any ideas outside of pool time, citywalk, minigolf. Kids are very active and will be up till 11 or even later lol. Thanks for any suggestions!

I’m sorry that I don’t have any ideas. But I am surprised to see the hours with parks closing at 6 or 7 that first two weeks of Nov. Was it like this last year?

I guess if it were us I would also consider late dinner or escape room in City Walk.

Swimming could be an option. Since You are staying at Cabana Bay, you could go bowling at the resort. You could also spend some time at City Walk. Maybe try mini golf or the great movie escape?

I’m going in November also and was not expecting Epic to close so early! I’m actually a bit upset about it. :sob:

I don’t usually eat a late dinner but that is my plan now for after the parks close. I don’t want to waste any early evening time for a meal. Poolside movie, escape room, mini golf after dinner are all options.
