I know in 2017 my DD (6 at the time), picked out the style that was like the original Mickey Mouse Club hat, but the base was blue. We found that one in Epcot on our first day.

I’m obsessed with Disney ears. I have a stupid number of them. The newer ears are more comfortable than ones in the past. I’ve also bought some comfy ones from Etsy.

ooohhh not good but I’m glad I finally broke down and bought some new ones, b/c I LOVE the look! I have a pk res for HS next week… I’ll be sporting some new ears

There’s no universal style of hat/headband that everyone is going to find comfortable. So it really depends.
I have a larger than average head, and usually have issues with headbands being painful. How very, the ears work just fine for me! I can wear them all day easily.
