Do wait times via the DL app tend to run accurately, or higher or lower than the actual time?
In terms of seating, being a party of 2 adults with 4 kids 6 and under… I know kids have to be 7 to ride by themselves. But my wife has read that it’s hit or miss, depending on the CM, if they’ll let a child under 6 ride in the row in front of or behind the adult even though you’re in the same vehicle. Anyone know how that might work for rides like Space Mountain, Toy Story, Radiator Springs? I just don’t want to, for example, take two of the kids by myself on Space Mountain, only to get there and find out that one can’t sit right in front of me.

So the policy varies based on the ride. If the two rows are considered one vehicle they will let your under 6 kids sit in the row directly in front of you (never the row behind as they want you to have eyes on them). For all the dark rides and boat-like rides with multiple rows, this is the case.
However for coasters, specifically Space Mtn (and ToonTown Gocoaster ) each row is considered its own vehicle so anyone under 7 must be accompanied in the same row by someone 14 or over.
What you could do is explain the situation to the cast members at the ride entrance and they may be able to offer a rider switch as a way to minimize it will take for an adult to take each under 7 child on the ride.

Many folks report that wait times are usually lower than the “official” listed time. Take a look that the reported time today for instance on the TP app.
