So I’m testing out plans for a day at DL. Arrive at 8 but do main street stuff till 10am then attractions. I put in arrival, break and a bunch of rides. Why would it not make a LL booking at 8:00 for an attraction?
It has me on a ride or two then a genie booking.

Most likely because what the optimizer is estimating to get in that 5 min stretch would have the entire return window during your break time & it can’t break up that big break to figure getting an LL. I would maybe break up that step into several chunks of break time OR schedule a couple of meals for things in Main Street (like Market House, Carnation, Gibson Girl, etc.) because you can choose the time of the meal & the duration and most importantly the optimizer is considering a more precise location.
