None at all, actually. Even I enjoyed it. DS was blown away. They all were.
Opinions about Hagrid:
DA: Fun, but not worth the wait
DS: 7.5 out of 10
DP: Slow compared with VC. Overhyped.

I think they’re suffering from an embarrassment of riches. If your jaw is already on the floor because VC and FJ are that astonishing, esp the first time, it doesn’t have much further to fall and you’re much more likely to notice your stubble scraping the pavement by the fifth ride or so.
Hagrid’s is awesome, but your whole day has been full of awesome, so it stands out less.

Did wand show at Ollivander’s and DS bought his wand. We are wandering around Diagon Alley but DA and DP aren’t really into it. I think we may have to arrange it so that DS and I come back another time on our own and explore properly and do spells. Quite busy at the moment, also.
