I love the pricing. If Disney is going to target an audience that wants to throw money at the wait time problem instead of researching a touring plan, then I’m glad they are going to be paying double to triple the price of a current ticket.
My initial gut reaction matches the consensus here.
But thinking about it more, it might be useful for one day on my next trip. I’m in Orlando for a conference, and a number of attendees are going to AK after the final conference day.
I don’t see us getting to & into the park ready to go until at least 2 hours after park open. And with a 6pm park close, if the premier pass is still available day of, it may actually be the better option
Edit: or it might be if not for the Deluxe stay restrictions
I found this from AllCentralFlorida. It’s a break down of all the “skip the line” passes sold at Orlando theme parks and the upcoming Lighting Lane Premiere Pass. I found it interesting to know what the price per ride actually is!
Interesting that HS is the most expensive per ride!
Also interesting that the average is roughly the same as a llsp.
But, that only works if you’re doing EVERY ride that’s eligible.
I couldn’t agree with you more.
This is very appealing for me to improve my park experience more than anything. My family has already said it is totally unnecessary because we never wait in line, which is true, but the majority of walking and dining time I am on my phone trying to make that happen. I can’t imagine what a phone-less trip would be like - for me- to just do what we wanted at the spur of the moment. That being said, I’m not sure I can justify the high price for what you get in return. If there were a park hopper option I think I would be considering it a lot more to make it “worth it.”
I’ve read a fair amount of this point and also that “unlimited rides” would make it worth it, but I think that’s the point … keep the price high enough and the benefits limited enough that the vast majority of guests are not interested in buying. If too many guests purchase this product (or it provides benefits to the point that it hurts VIP sales too much), then the system doesn’t work for WDW.
Given what we have seen with other WDW premium products the past few years, I suspect these will sell without WDW adding hoppers or unlimited rides.
You keep saying this and I thought before it was a typo but clearly not.
What does this mean?
Illivin?
The only thing I see missing that I’d like to see is $/minutes saved. But that will be rough to calculate with the fluxuating prices and standby waits

Haha I was reading it as lisp ![]()

I’ve been thinking about this all day, and have come to the conclusion we would buy the Premier Pass if we visit WDW with our adult kids.
Dh and I go often as DVC members (1-2x per year) but our kids do not anymore. Our eldest hasn’t been in 9 or 10 years. His partner has never been. Middle’s partner has also never been.
Between work and grad school schedules, and the fact that only 2 of the 5 get PTO (and 1 is a teacher!), there is no way we’d be able to enjoy a leisurely week+ vacation. We would be lucky to get 3 or 4 days.
Managing a 7 person trip with MP and SP, worrying about what we’d be able to book ahead for a quick trip, making sure we’d be at the front of the rope drop crowd, cross-crossing the parks chasing MP availability—-that doesn’t sound like an enjoyable trip for me! The kids would probably have a blast, and dh would be happy as long as I schedule in lounge time, but I would be stressed before and during the trip.
They need to go. When I was single I took at girlfriend to WDW who had never been to WDW before. Everything was new for her and she had a blast.
Also, when I met DW she hadn’t been to Disney since the early 90s so while not all new for her, it had been a long time. She’s a “Disney person” now.
I do think this is more appealing for a once in a lifetime or like your case. For us, I know we will be back and can just catch what we missed then.
If they let your park hopper I might try to pay for it. But for now I can’t see doing it.
Honestly my first thought when I saw the news this morning was, “Oh no! I have to update the LL thread!”

Has anyone talked about the stress of getting the Premier Pass on day -7 (edit: apparently I have this wrong - it’s length of stay - same as MP/SP), which is AFTER you are supposed to have already gotten LLMP for the rest of your days of your stay? What if you can’t get one of the “very limited” premier passes? (hypothetically.) Then you’d be behind. Unless you had also bought LLMP and LLSP just in case. Which I guarantee you some crazy rich people are going to do. ![]()
Here’s the thing: I think Disney probably realizes that this is not going to be a huge money maker for them. Yes, it will be easy money – once the sale is made, the work is done. No skin off their back since the LL system is already in place. But it’s also going to be low volume and will replace other budgeted expenditures (especially VIP tours, but also # of days, etc.).
I honestly think they just know that some people prefer not having to book LLs and they’d like to have this option, expensive as it is. It’s a no-brainer for them to oblige given the price tag. More satisfied wealthy customers without impacting the rest of us too much.
Actually I think it will make me feel so much better about paying for LLMP. “At least it’s not Premier!”
This could totally be a thing.
Oh wow, I agree with Ryan! ![]()
I think you’re right about loopholes. But I don’t think they’ll cut drops. Those are integral to the LLMP system. They want it to work, they just don’t want to make it too easy.
No, for the same reason ^
Imagine being that rich xD my salary barely affords me to travel there xD
Circling back to my post yesterday about the days of free Express Pass for Universal Deluxe hotels being numbered ……
It will still be offered for the existing hotels, because they can’t get out of the contract.
But it will remain as just the 2 park option, even if they introduce a new 3 park pass.
And it will not be offered at the new Deluxe hotel at Epic Universe.
I replied in your main thread.
The FAQs say you can purchase this 7 days in advance of your stay for length of stay up to 14 days.
It’s specifically talking about Premier. Unless they’ve messed up ….
This is where I’ve landed. This is Disney’s option for the relatively few price-insensitive guests who want to skip the line without effort (but who, for any of several reasons, aren’t interested in a VIP tour).
