I just heard that Pop Century will have some renovations done. We reserved to stay there in August for two nights. We will be at the parks most of the day but will the construction be super loud? I read there may be some room updates. Any suggestions as to whether to stick to the reservation or to change hotel?

I did see room renovations. I didn’t hear anything about major construction. Personally I would keep it as long as the Skyliner isn’t projected to be down. But maybe they will release more specifics.

My understanding is that they will renovate one building at a time, so you shouldn’t be booked in a building under renovation, unless it is the tail end of it which wouldn’t be noisy. We stayed at a couple places over the years during construction and as long as a new wall up maybe switching you on another path don’t bother you, you will be fine. We love Pop and will be there in August too. I don’t think they do Skyliner maintenance in August, so that should be fine

IIRC it’s January/ February.
I think Pop is just replacing soft goods like bedding. I don’t think there is any major construction scheduled. Pop just did a major refurb that finished in 2019.
