We are going to be in Disney World in a week from tomorrow and we are on the dining plan. I understand we still pay for tips out of pocket. Is there a way to charge the tips to our room and then pay for that balance using a Disney gift card? Or are we able to pay for tips in each restaurant using a Disney gift card if we brought them with? TIA.

I pay at every meal with a gift card. The tip I mean.

You can do both of those things, but it’s probably easier just to pay it at the restaurant with the gift card and cut out having to go to the front desk.

So not to be dense, but if on the DDP, you hand them a gift card and say, “Please take ~$20 off this card for the tip.” ???
