I consider that a very artistic take on the traditional shot.
Cute!!
Shenkel #1: Grand Floridian stay
Shenkel #2: Coronado Springs Resort visit
Shenkel #3: Toledo
All of these things sound wonderful. Toledo (and Gran Destino Tower) is one of my favorite places on property.
I almost never order chicken in restaurants but I figured with Spanish flavors it would be special, and I was not wrong. LT loved her pork chop too.
“Toledo Tapas Bar”
Fun to try, but I wouldn’t order again.
Orange Flancocho
LT loved this. Would repeat.
I think the Coronado may be the most beautiful Disney resort.
How long were you at Toledo? I’m trying to get a sense of how much time to expect. Hoping I can rush my server to get us through.
Almost 2 hours. Now we did take a little while to actually decide what to eat, but also the food was brought out really slowly. Poor Brenda was abour to eat Jiminy Cricket she was so famished!
Definitely not a meal that is rushed.
Kathy and I went in September. According to my pictures, we got seated around 7:52pm and ordered drinks and several apps, and then dessert which was served at 8:49pm. So I think you can get out of there in an hour, hour and a half depending on how many courses you order.
Thanks! We don’t plan to do desert there so we may be on the shorter end.
Especially this time of the year
I’ve never had a rushed meal here…
We’re going right when it opens so I’m hoping closer to an hour is doable. I can do 90 minutes but would prefer not 2 hours.
Without desert or drinks, I can’t imagine it would be 2 hours. And I am sure if you told the server you were in a hurry, they would move it along. It is definitely more of a convetion center restaurant where they assume people want to chat, instead of the rush to turn the tables. But I am sure they can move it along too!
GotG BG7. I must be losing my touch.
Took a quick walk around the grounds to get a feel for what’s needed, weather-wise. It’s … brisk, to put it in the most positive light. Hat weather, at the moment.
Skies are clearing, though. Last night I stubbornly wore to dinner the breezy flowy pants, light sweater and flip flops I’d planned. Mistake. It was cold and drizzly and I was a bit miserable during the brief periods we were outdoors.
Learned my lesson and am more prepared this morning. It’ll be a lot more comfortable without the dampness at any rate.
