Is there still the ability to have any purchases made in the parks sent back to your Disney resort for later p/up at the resort’s gift shop? I feel like this went away at one point & unsure if it’s back - it’s certainly better than dragging merch around all day/night!!

Nope. It never came back post COVID. You can have purchases shipped directly from the store to home but if you are purchasing from multiple stores that can get pricey. We’ve done this with Chirstmas ornaments we didn’t want to carry around MK.

They should bring it back now that they are saving money on gingerbread houses

I feel like they are losing money. People may now be withholding purchases if they don’t want to walk around with it all day.

when they stopped the free pkg to room program…. .I stopped buying as much I usually did b/c I wasn’t interested in carrying it around all day. I would tell myself, “If it’s still here when I go to leave the park, I’ll grab it on my way out” 9 times out of 10 I didn’t buy it b/c the impulse or desire was gone. NOt being able to send my pkg back to the resort has saved me hundreds of dollars Thank you, Disney for saving me money

I know I certainly do. If I can’t wear it or eat it, I don’t buy it. I will not carry anything around.
And since the merchandise at the parks and Disney Springs is 90% the same anyway, I go over and buy my shirt and my loungefly and that’s my shopping done for the entire trip.
