Park Opening Hours Not Reflected in Plan

On Sept. 14 MK opens at 8a with EE starting at 7:30a. However, in my plan it has a 60-minute wait at the first attraction at 7:30a, so the plan will not be accurate for the day. Can the times be updated to allow for correct estimates?

Welcome to the forum! Is it an attraction that does not open at early entry?

By default, TP does NOT assume you will be at the front of the line for EE, so the wait time could be quite long.

If you edit your plan, and scroll down, expand the Advanced Options, and you can override this:

If you have this selected, it assumes you will actually be at the front…but then it is up to you to actually make sure you are. It is easy to ASSUME you will be, but when you arrive, find out you aren’t, which is why it defaults to off.

I still don’t think it would have many things with a wait of 60 minutes at rope drop even without “rope drop mode.”

I can think of at least one: 7DMT

When we were last time, we rope-dropped Peter Pan…but a huge majority of folks were lining up for 7DMT. Most, in fact. We weren’t at the front of the EE pack…probably middle. But that 7DMT queue was ginormous as we were walking past to get to Peter Pan.

This is Christmas Day…

Is that the LL wait?

No, it’s just telling you to GET a LL.

I’m not arguing that it won’t post 60 minutes almost immediately, but I have never seen a single TP that lists the first attraction at 60 minutes regardless of “rope drop” mode.

This is with rope drop mode:

Interesting. I wonder if there is another issue…such as perhaps it being a ride that doesn’t have EE access?

@ashley_prough_544042 Can you post a link to your shared plan so we can take a look?

I agree that it’s likely a non-EE or later opening ride like KS.

I believe that was my question.

Ah! You’re right. I think we cross posted, so I didn’t see your question.

It’s ok, I am a universal fan and often wear my cloak of invisibility.

I have put in multiple rides as the initial ride, and no matter what ride I select it has a 60 minute wait. I’ve tried Peter Pan, Winnie the Pooh, Dumbo, etc. All rides that are EE rides. I also have duplicated it and had the plan optimized, and it puts Peter Pan’s at 7:30 but says that it will be a 54-minute wait with us arriving at the ride at 7:36a. Enabling rope drop just has us getting to the ride at 7:30 and waiting for 60 minutes. Start time is 7:30a and I have the toggle on to utilize the EE hours.

Made a duplicate of the plan public: Custom Touring Plan: Sept. 14th - Optimized

The duplicate one looks fine? I think the one you screenshotted must not be starting until 8:30.

That’s really interesting that you are seeing it differently. Even in the duplicated one that I posted a link to I am still seeing the very large wait for the first ride. See below for screenshots of the plan setup and the first few rides. Are you seeing that initial wait being much shorter?

Weird, now I see it but before it had you on Tiana’s at 7:30 for a 4 minute wait!

What do the “park hours” say?
