Hi; does anyone know how Disney makes the decision to extend MK hours past 9pm? I noticed they’ve extended to 11pm through April 9. We are going last week of June and trying to pick a day (Sat-Tues). Any sense of whether we should expect 11pm closing time in June (not Wed Extended Evening hours - we can’t go Wed)
They seem to be updating week by week each Friday. It’s an agonizingly slow process. You’ll be waiting a bit.

Usually each Friday, but yesterday (Tuesday) they changed some park hours in upcoming weeks, and last week they changed them on Thursday. So, really, they can be very unpredictable in terms of when they change hours. Sorry.
I don’t know if anyone knows how Disney makes any of their decisions. It used to be that in busier times of the year, they’d have longer hours and most things open/running (not closed for refurbishment) - such as busy summer months. But now so many other times of the year are also very busy, so…things change. The only constant is there shall be change. Keep an eye on things via here on TP, chat, and any other sites you like.

They will extend hours if they are Expecting big crowds. Historically it’s open longer in summer months
