Is there a good resource for options, timings and preferences for park hopping? The links seem to to be related to hotels as the starting point? I would be interested in knowing driving or alternatives is better depending on where you start and where you want to end up. Coupled with knowing restrictions on what happens at closing to get back to your original parking lot

I am not aware of an analysis like that. I would look up the routes on Google maps and factor in waiting for the bus (I usually budget 15-20 minutes) and drop-off locations vs. parking lots, tram, etc.

I use Google Maps successfully in the parks for transportation and walking routes. Has never steered me wrong. Only caution is when driving to MK/TTC, Google Maps is not as good as the Disney road signs in terms of when to turn off into lot.
