Ordering pre-arrival Magic Band + questions

My older girls don’t have MagicBand+s, so I was going to get them each one before our upcoming, very short trip. Every time I nail down the second girl on which one they like, I go back to order them, and the one the first girl said she liked is gone. Do I have to order them at the same time?

I have 117 days… so I have time. But DD20 keeps seeing Figment pop up and away again. Meanwhile DD18 picked one that went away when Figment came back. So she picked a new one, and Figment is gone again.

(insert Figment joke here)

I don’t want either of them to “settle” because they didn’t get one last year.

Yes. You only get one chance to pre-order for your hotel stay. If you were doing a split stay, you’d have two reservations and therefore two chances to order.

But you can order them from the Disney Store at any time. You lose a slight discount, but may be able to get the ones they actually want.

Yeah, unfortunately. I wish they would just offer the discount on all of them instead of just a handful.

You’ve still got plenty of time. Check the site intermittently, especially since you know what they want. When you see both, order immediately.

I wasn’t going to get one. I’ve been using an old one last few trips but I want to make sure I get ride pictures. I’ll probably get one :joy:

I bought the MB+ in 2023 and have used it eight times now, including once on a Disney cruise. It’s nice to recharge it and know I’ll get all my pictures.

I’m pretty sure I will get one. I need to try on my daughter’s band to see if they are a lot bigger because my wrists are really small.

My wrists are small enough that I can wear the child size band (where you take the outside of the band off). I don’t find the MB+ to be any bigger than the old MBs.

This is what I’m taking advantage of. I knew I wanted Ariel, and I finally managed to snag her one night when she showed up around midnight. She was gone by the next morning. My husband is still taking his time finding one that he likes.

If they want to force everyone to choose at the same time, it would be nice if the selection wasn’t constantly rotating and ridiculously tiny.
