Ordering Memory Maker for race day?

I want to order Memory Maker for my wife when she runs her first half marathon. I don’t really want to pay the $210 for the whole trip since we already have a lot of those types of photos, but I noticed you can buy Memory Maker for a single day.

Looking at the fine print, I’m wondering if there’s a catch here: A single day Memory Maker purchase says it begins at 6 am, but the half marathon will begin before that.

Would that exclude any pictures from the beginning of her race in the purchase since the race begins before 6 am? Is there an exception for the runners? Or am I worried about nothing because maybe there won’t be any Disney photographers at the beginning of the race?

The half marathon will begin at 5 but she may not start until later because of all the start groups. Did she submit a proof of time to get in an early corral?

In any case there aren’t really any photographers in places other than on parks and with characters. I bet she would be just fine with the single day option. A good source would be one of the runDisney groups on Facebook
