Has anyone experienced booking ADRs at Disneyland opening earlier than 6 a.m. PST?
I have read that they sometimes open at 3 a.m., but I don’t want to get up that early if that isn’t the case.
I don’t have the largest sample size because I’ve only ever cared to follow in the limited number of trips we’ve tried for a Blue Bayou Fantasmic dining but all of those were at 6am PST. Most of the time though, you really don’t need to jump right on it (Blue Bayou Fantasmic dining is the biggest exception, and the chef table at Napa Rose, if they still do that). Most everything else will be available at least throughout that morning.
Thanks. Yesterday, for Christmas Day ADRs, both places that I was trying to get (one or the other) had no tables for 8 people right at 6 a.m. PST right as reservations opened. Normally, both places have tables for 8, we have had them I will just stalk the dining site until I find what I want.
So annoying! Did you try to break it up into 2 smaller parties? If you’re staying onsite there is a phone number for the hotel concierge desk that can help you get ADRs they tend to hold back for onsite (that I suspect create a very fluid walk-up situation in DLR, and once upon a time were pretty easy to scoop up the day before if you were looking for a tough one).
Yes, we got two tables of 4.
To add to the fun, we had no power, no phone or internet for 30 hours. Thankfully, I was able to get a text to my DD who is in Philadelphia. Couldn’t get one to my son who lives 30 minutes away. But he had no power either.
Oh wow. You definitely deserve a lovely Christmas getaway to DLR! I hope your reservations come through as a party of 8 and/or that the 2-4’s can be worked in to be one party.
