One time use points reduced to $20

The cost of OTUPs has been reduced to $20 - from either $22 or $21 (I can’t remember what the latest price was).

Oh! I read last night that with the new incentives they were only paying owners $20 but I didn’t expect they would be selling them for $20!

Me either - that is great news. $22 always seemed so steep. Maybe fewer people were taking them up on it. Or they are just cutting owners a breatk.

Huh. They probably won’t refund me, though, will they. I had to buy 2 (or 3?) points for a trip in February. I’m not really worried about it since it was maybe $4 - $6 tops, but they ought to refund me!

It’s all about how it’s working for them

Wait, they pay owners for OTUPs?

And is this a first of Disney reducing the price of something??

It is part of they incentives for direct buys. You could sell back your first year points and reduce the overall cost. That is one of the offsets that reduced the GFVs to $161?

Oh, interesting concept.

I think @PrincipalTinker is right, that the cut in OTUPs is a consequence of the altered magical beginnings offering.

It’ll probably go back up once their direct sales are back on track.
