We are doing a large extended family trip in early October and one of my must do items is to finally visit Nomad Lounge.
There are 13 of us (10 adults, 3 kids) in total, but am I right in assuming they can’t accommodate that large of a party (even if we were to rope drop the waitlist )? What’s the biggest party they can seat at one table?
My husband and I will make this a “just us” experience if that’s the best option (and even send DD5 off with her cousins/aunts/uncles to entertain themselves elsewhere) but wanted to ask first and get a feel for if we should even toy with the idea of trying to all go together, even if at separate tables.
Most of us have eaten at Tiffins before and loved it, but I don’t think anyone in the group has made it to the nomad lounge side.
I don’t know about inside but outside you could sit at a few of the seating areas around each other. I’m sure they could manage this inside too. Just expect a wait. I don’t know if they move tables together for larger parties though.
I’ve read that Disney owned are much more stickler for the rules about going over their max table size. IRL, we’ve done adjacent tables with large parties just fine. Biggest thing to remember is you just slammed your server. So be patient!
I think you’ll be fine. You would fill up the big table inside, with a small handful of people at one of the inside tables or at the bar. They’ve also recently started seating in a back room, which is actually Tiffins overflow. Those are standard restaurant tables, so they may be more willing to combine them for your party. Def rope drop it.
Good to know about the 10 top! There may be some in our group who would rather keep riding rides while the rest of us take a breather (like the kid-free couples who haven’t been to Disney in a few years).
Agreed. They tried to sit us there in Dec when the main room was empty. We asked to be sat in the main room and the hostess was so bitchy about it. She did it, but was very unpleasant. Our waitress said that they plan to convert the back room to be less restaurant tables and more like the main room with low tables and couches/chairs.
I’ll be trying to remember to make that request when I am there in a few weeks. Hard pass on that room. Once they convert that space, then maybe. MAYBE.
