I did try that. The app, the website, incognito, going to the generic search, going to the restaurant.
I can pick the time, get all the way to the end, and then it (Donald) ducks out.

Sigh Disney IT at its best.
but also facts
Ok, I managed to book a lunch for that day at Sā71, but if I try to book a breakfast, or even modify that lunch to a breakfast, it errors out. I think thereās just something wrong with the breakfast hours.
Is there a comparison of these somewhere? Besides the menus I meanā¦
Iāve definitely seen one online in a google search. Iāve done 'em both and to me I prefer the food and drinks at SRT. I also did them during Harmonious and neither of them had the view of the inside of the stargate but that should no longer be an issue. SRT is a bit further away but not much from the center of the lagoon but what Iāve read online is you arenāt guaranteed a first row seat along the rail whereas at R&C they let us move down to the lower patio to watch the show even though our table was in the back corner. I did get a rail seat with a party of four and an early checkin at SRT so thatās another way of making that happen there.
Did you ever figure this out? I was/am completely locked out of making ADRs or booking fireworks party. On any device/browser combination I can imagine. Went old schoolā¦.,and called.
Itās still kinda broken. I have 66% of my ADRs done, but there are still 3 that are messed up. Iām wondering about the dates, that our trip is in 2024 might be affecting things. Like some restaurants have not set up anything for next year, yet.
I did some serious thinking about late nights and early morning breakfasts after this last trip and Iāve cancelled Nine Dragons lunch and La Creperie breakfast since those were the two lowest rated. And Iāve moved my CP dining package to 12:45pm at Le Cellier (which Iāve been and like a lot). So no Akershus either which is perfectly fine as two adults (and Iāve done that breakfast something like three times already).
I just got to thinking Jollywood Nights ends at 12:30am I believe and with skylining back to hotel (and if there is a 12:30am show we might catch that so even later) I donāt want an 8:30am Akershus. And after MVMCP ending at 12am but there be a stage show right at close I wonāt want a 9am breakfast either at L Creperie. What I will want is sleep! LOL
Iāve been plugging my ADRs in with the leading reservation, and Iām just about done with WDW (and my ADR window opens tomorrow)
The only one left is La Creperie dinner, and thatās just because they havenāt opened them up for 2024.
Welp, got my first swing and a miss today. Thank you Disneyland
I wanted Wine Country Trattoria for 1/13, and woke up a bit later than I wanted, so thereās plenty of lunch spots until 3:45, but nothing for dinner until 7:20 pm.
I hope itās people booking for a WoC dining package, and then realizing later that itās not going to happen, that they cancel.
Disneyland can be tougher cuz no +10 advantage and they drop things really weird. Itās not really 60 days for most of it. I usually use rezfinders with them even before the 60 days. It didnāt used to be a big deal cuz they had so much availability cuz people out there didnāt really book out that far in advance but nowadays they doā¦thanks Covid!
I hear ya. Being Disneyland half marathon weekend is not helping matters, either. Many more tourists than normal, and wanting some Italian before the 13.1 race!
Everything else Iāve booked at like 11:00 AM Eastern time, so 8:00 Pacific, and I havenāt had a problem. This was the first one where I went āwhat the? Whereād everything go?ā
ETA: I just looked at availability. Besides Trader Samās, because that is a hotter ticket than almost a Taylor Swift concert , the only two restaurants with issues are WCT, Carthay Circle, which is sold out, and Naples Ristorante in DTD.
The Italian joints are getting slammed. I think itās people carbing up before the half.
Interesting. I have had a ton of problems trying to get Carthay Circle since Covid. Before Covid it was always part of show packages which says to me they had a hard time filling it.
There are slots on 1/11, but 1/12 and 1/13 are fully booked. Iām confused!
I was just browsing the MDE app for any dining reservation swaps for my trip 12/19-26 and there were a lot of options still. I even saw a Victoria & Albertās!
That bodes well for crowds I hope.
