Will current AP holders receive the new magic bands or will those only be sent to new or renewing pass holders? Will be making another trip or two before mine expires and was just wondering. Thanks! Sorry if this is a repeat question- searched on my phone and didn’t find anything on it. 
I’ve not seen this asked before - but I don’t have a definitive answer either. If you’re staying on site, then new bands should be shipped in conjunction with that trip. If it were me, I wouldn’t expect to get the new bands as an AP until renewal…
