Need suggestions for snack/desserts to place in TPs

Trying to set up my TPs for our early May trip. TP asks for breaks for rest or meals…I have put in our lunch and quite late dinner reservations but I know we need late afternoon snack/dessert breaks. Since I don’t know the parks well (only visited once before in 2011) and have researched my hardcopy of the Unofficial Guide. Can anyone suggest good snack/dessert LOCATIONS in Epcot, AK, HS, and MK? I am not looking for sit down restaurants but quick service or carts. We are not interested in snacks like popcorn or frozen ice cream treats but more unique and tasty items. We always love a cupcake or a sweet and salty snack, but welcome to anything fun and memorable. Thanks in advance…

I posted a very similar question looking for cupcake locations and 2 great suggested locations were Sunshine Seasons in Epcot( tomorrowland) and the Contempo Cafe in the CR.

A MK location I stumbled upon on my last visit was Big Top Souvenirs, across from Dumbo. There is a large case of treats to choose from and seating out the back entrance. The seating area was completely empty and it was a moderately busy day so it must be off the beaten track for most.

To those recommended, I would add the School Bread in Norway (at EPCOT) and I wholeheartedly endorse the carrot cake cookies at HS.

We didn’t do much snacking last trip, but there was one thing we tried that I loved. The dole whip! At MK or AK. I can’t wait to get another one on our next trip.

Oh, and I haven’t tried the boulangerie/patisserie in France at Epcot yet, but we’re planning to next trip. I’ve heard good things about the treats there.

Everyone is always talking make sure you use all your snack credits. Last year I went to France and Germany and got a lot of snacks from their bakeries, nothing that would melt or go bad before we would get back to the room. I got a bacon and cheese pastry from France OMG ::heart_eyes:  We eat these for breakfast before heading to the parks in the morning and took them with us on our trip home. We still had left over snack credits on our last day. The caramel popcorn from Germany was very good but went stale quickly, someone told be to get the prepacked in plastic but I did not listen next time.

Cheshire Café - cat tail and wonderful slush
Churro Cart - churros with chocolate sauce (had never had them with chocolate sauce before - I am a big fan)

Won’t be on a meal plan but thanks for the advise.

For those listing the carrot cake cookie, I tried it and loved it a few years ago. Then I read in several places awhile back that they changed them and they weren’t as good. Have you all tried the newer version and is it still really good? If so I am promptly putting it back on my list

My family and I are not foodies, but even I could not resist watching EVERY video on snacks from the Disney Food Blog. Here’s sort of a summary of the best snacks for 2019, and you can bet I have many of these scheduled into my TP:

There are several other park-specific videos as well.

If you still have room… Magic Kingdom: Cinnamon roll and La Fou’s brew at Gaston’s Tavern. Big enough to share (if you feel like it).

I last had it in January, and it is still as excellent as ever, IMO.
