We recently booked a room only reservation, and purchased park tickets separately. The Disney CM I spoke to over the phone seemed confused on how we link our park tickets to our Magic Bands. She told me I could either bring the tickets the day we check in and have them linked, or I could call back 60 days prior to our vacation and someone would link them for me. I told her we want to be sure to book FP+ reservations 60 days in advance of our vacation, but she said I could not have this done sooner than 60 days. I signed into the Disney website to see what was up, and it looks as though I can manually enter each ticket’s ID number to link them to our account. Does anyone have experience with linking tickets this way? I never know if I can trust the info I get from the CM’s when I call.
I did this the other day. Yes you manually enter the hotel reservation and then enter each ticket for each person. I was able to get the fastpasses after I had linked the tickets.
