Who’s with me?! Seriously…we go to Disneyland about every three years and this will be the first time with Galaxy’s Edge. We are staying (DVC) at Grand Californian. Arrive on day 1…Downtown Disney, Days 2-4 in parks…go home on Day 5.
So how does this work now with Galaxy’s Edge?

I would allot about 3-4 hours for SWGE. That’s how long the reservation period was and I was able to get everything done in that time. Caveat that if you want to go to the Cantina or build a lightsaber, you may need a little extra time and will need to log into the Disneyland website at 7am sharp day of to make a reservation for each. Caveat 2 that if Rise of the Resistance is open, there will probably be a monster line. Everything else is easily doable in 3 hours.
I agree with @Jeff_AZ. The rise of the resistance will be your biggest wild card, if it opens before you go.
