Semi-Disney related as I know this excursion is on DCL itineraries. We did the Baha Mara Baha Bay Waterpark excursion on RCL last year and loved it. We were on Royal but we were there with families off the Dream as well. I don’t know what it costs on DCL but we paid <$300 for our family of 4. It includes $25 worth of lunch so I thought the waterpark and transport was worth $200.
We want to do this again on our cruise in October but now the price is $650 for the 4 of us! Not happening. I can get a night at the Baha Mar Hyatt for $420. This should get us Baha Bay access plus access to the awesome pools and the beach. Is there any reason not to do this? Has anyone tried it before? Anyone stayed at Baha Mar? Am I missing something??
I did look at the day pass and it was actually more expensive than through the cruise line because the cruise line charges “child” rates and the resort pass charges an adult rate for anyone over 48”! I don’t get it.
I looked a little bit there. I haven’t gotten around to making a post. I am wondering if this is suddenly more expensive to make the new Royal Beach Club look more appealing.
It’s been going up in price. When I went to Nassau in 2025 it was higher in price than previous trips to Nassau. I want to say it was around $150 per person because I remember thinking to myself it was practically like paying to go to Disney.
We decided against going since my kiddo preferred to try the slides at CocoCay instead.
I have booked like a dozen different things because the sale seems to be decent right now. I booked the Coco Cay water park because it was only like $50pp and then I booked the Royal Beach Club on Nassau because it includes drinks and was like $350 total. So both of those things combined are still cheaper than a day pass to Baha Mar but probably equivalent to the one-night hotel option. We still have time to decide.
I am just bummed that the price got so high! I did think that we got a really good deal last time. I also still wonder if they want their beach club to look the cheapest.
It was definitely cheaper than Atlantis when we’ve looked. Everything in Nassau seemed expensive to me compared with some other islands though.
Royal Beach Club looks nice from the YouTube videos I’ve seen. Sometimes convenience wins out for me on cruises and it does seem like a very easy and lovely day.
