My first WDW trip report!

Less than 5 minutes for Figment was worth it! Back on line for mickey and minnie and it’s still not bad, about 15 groups and line is now in the AC

Oh that doesn’t sound too bad.
Hope the pics are good.

Was Figment as odd looking IRL??

Yes! But he was super funny, his entrance was super fun and his interactions with the kids and the adults were very entertaining. I like figment but I’m not a huge fan and it was worth it (with a short wait)

I’m actually cool enough that I can wear my wizarding robe this morning and I’m not sweating through it!

Line for mickey and minnie started getting really busy at 9:40am so that would have been the “sweet spot” time to arrive

Today’s the start of Soarin over California - so the lines over there are probably going to be crazy!!

They are indeed! Soarin has been over an hour all day. Luckily i had an LL for it, but even that is backed up. My plan today is to ride gotg and enjoy the showcase so the lines don’t bother me much, but even Nemo is at 40 minutes!

SoC was really beautiful but I like it just as much as the “world” version. It’s one of my favorite rides though

It’s reall busy in Epcot today, unsurprisingly. The VQ for gotg was already closed now (1:25pm). Yesterday it was open well into the late afternoon (past 4pm). The ILLs are also gone so I’m guessing no re-ride for me!

I got One way or Another again! 3 times same song

I guess they’ll find a way for it to be “your song” one way or another!! :upside_down_face::wink::laughing:

How was the ending of your trip? Are you safely back home yet?

I’m back home  it’s definitely bittersweet. The solo part of the trip was wonderful but by the end I had definitely felt I had done all of the things I wanted (or at least had energy for). Looking back I should have rested more while solo and enjoyed the pool more! But it’s hard to be so close to the parks and not go.

Overall, I really loved the trip. I never felt rushed and it was the perfect balance of being with fiance and being solo. It’s wonderful having someone to share the magic with but it’s also really nice not making plans going with the flow.

I will try to do a review/final thoughts this week with tips for rides, restaurants and hotels!!

@eightyeightkeys how is it being back?

Thanks again fid helping me get settled in at MNSSHP. Solo Travels are a blast, but getting little moments with friends was awesome!
