Multiple Park Ticket Question

I recently purchased a 1-day park hopper ticket for 11/18 and linked it to my MDE account. After buying, I was given a ticket for this day as a gift from a friend. Now, I would like to use the gifted day ticket, let the purchased ticket go unused so that I can apply that amount to a ticket purchase in the future.

Can I have two linked park tickets to the same MDE account? How do I know make sure I’m using the gifted ticket when scanning into the park? Do l need to transfer the purchased one to a family members account that I’m linked to so that I don’t have two tickets on mine?

I would go to the ticket in your MDE account and move the ticket to some date in the future (a date close to the same price). You will pay the difference now, and can move it again. You will not need to worry about what ticket is used.
