Rainy start to our Wednesday!
The mother/daughter shirts that I named my trip report after were on tap for the day but we never took sweatshirts off. Here’s a sunny picture from last year!

California Adventure was in tap for the morning and zipping through Genie. But first, we ducked in out of the rain to get our Easter egg scavenger hunt.

I want to say this FW and projections are my all time favorite. I bawled through the whole thing, my heart just busting with joy. The ending was my childhood and also my daughter’s childhood so that was just the BEST.

I always say Harbor reminds me of being outside a baseball stadium after a game. All kinds of people, high energy!

They have them inside the shops and someone standing outside as well. There is one for DL and one for DCA. We decided that since Abby won’t be home for Easter (
) that we’d do her Easter egg hunt here.

My favorite show of all time is the original WOC. But for Castle FW shows the best ever was the Halloween party version in DL in 2012! Zero flying and Jacks face lighting up the sky!!

Grand Californian to get out of the rain and have breakfast.
Egg white omelette. It was delicious.
Abby had the breakfast burrito which doesn’t look great in the box but she said it was good.

The rain was now just a drizzle. We decided to ride The Incredicoster stand by since we had time before we could hop to DL.
Not one of our better ideas…drizzle feels like pelting rain on a coaster

I was on Everest once in pouring rain and it was awful. This was light rain so I thought it would be fine. Nope!!

It had stopped raining and the sun had come out. It’s amazing how quickly weather can clear here.
We knew we were taking a break soon so we decided to ride Splash. This was to be our last time. Oh my goodness, we got absolutely soaked and from the very beginning. After the first drop, a wave of water came over the side and that was the first of several. I have never gotten that wet on that ride. My jeans were soaked. Our Loungflys were soaked.
We left immediately after that and dripped all the way back to the hotel.
