I didn’t see any post about this…maybe it was mentioned in another?
Anyhow…when my wife told about this, I kind of had to sigh. Yet another Monorail issue…on top of all the maintenance issues Disney seems to be having lately. I have to wonder when they are going to get their act together!
I’m just trying to figure out how I never knew the monorail traveled on inflated tires!
I do not know much of this type of thing AT ALL. I was thinking it was more like railroad tracks or like steal coasters.
Oh! We were on our way to pick Julia up and we saw all the trucks and such. We thought there was an auto accident. So glad it wasn’t anything so much as that.
Though I’m sure being stuck on the monorail and needing evacuated was stressful for everyone involved. At least there were no injuries.
Based on reports, it sounds like they had to break windows while they waited to be evacuated because it was getting too hot inside and the A/C stopped working.
I have extreme vertigo. I don’t know how I would get down off that monorail. Since people started needing to be evacuated I think I’ve been on it once. Or maybe twice.
