Monorail schedule and midday maintenance?

I’ve heard that the monorail might not be running in the middle of the day on certain days of the week. Does anyone know what the latest schedule is, or has experience of this recently?
I’m asking because we’re park hopping on my birthday in August from MK to EPCOT and would like to use the monorail to hop between parks at around noon. If the monorail isn’t working, is there a bus that goes straight from MK to EPCOT or am I better driving?

When I was there in April the day time closure was only the express beam.

If the monorail isn’t running, does a bus go from MK gates direct to EPCOT or would I have to go via the TTC?

I believe they were directing everyone to the ferry.
