For nearly every meal, we did mobile food ordering. Overall, we thought it’s fantastic. You can leisurely look at the food items without feeling pressure to order. Few people were doing it so it went really quickly. Epcot only has one restaurant you can do it. In a few cases we got notified to pick up our order but it was really for us to tell them that we were there and then they would proceed with it. Customization is weird. Let’s say a sandwich has mayo, lettuce, and tomato. You may be able to say hold the mayo but cannot say to hold the lettuce or tomato. At the same park but a different restaurant, you could say to hold the lettuce and tomato. Very weird. Another weird thing is that some restaurants allow you to have free soda refills while others do not…but you don’t know ahead of time which they are.
