Trying to plan* for our May trip, and I came across the “Starlight” (second day) part of this two-part touring plan for adults. It looks pretty interesting! So I wondered what the “Sunrise” part would have, but I can’t find it. It’s also not in the 2026 edition of the book.
I found one thread that mentions it … from 2018. Eek! Does anyone happen to have an old copy lying around in their files? Could I see it, please? I promise to put it back in good shape.
Thanks in advance!
*I really, really prefer touring plans on paper. I do have the app on my phone; I just am almost 60 years old and really hate having to mess with my phone whilst on vacation.
Wow, that looks like an old plan that deserves a serious update! I see there are two Epcot plans also named as “Sunrise/Starlight” plans, but they have the disclaimer about being Day One (or Day Two) of a Two-Day plan. The MK plan does not have that disclaimer. I wonder if TP dropped the morning part of the MK plan. @len What do you know about these?
There are so many new rides not listed in any of these plans, and the EP one lists Epcot Forever which ended in December 2023. Plus “Starlight” now is the name of the new nighttime parade at MK, and this parade is not listed in the MK plan you found. I wonder if the new parade played into this change.
Given the many attraction closures/changes/new that affect the MK plan, I would just start from scratch. I always create/modify my plans on the computer, where it is far easier. I, too, print them out to have along for reference.
I have done that in the past, but I have not had great luck with “customized” plans. I have had better results with plans in the backs of the books like Adult Two-Day or Selective One-Day. We take the suggested plans and just skip the things that don’t interest us or which have discouragingly long lines.
I guess I’ll just go back to those defaults. I’m a little bummed that there isn’t such a thing as a pre-planned Sunrise/Sunset plan for the Magic Kingdom, but I’ll get over it – it’s Disney World, after all! Thank you for your input!
I didn’t think we still showed those plans on the site. Wow. I thought we’d got rid of them when we took them out of the book. Does anyone else need these updated? If not I’ll make sure they’re gone.
@bay_loftis Hello! And thanks for using the site and book! For what it’s worth, there’s enough downtime in the parks these days that we’d really recommend using our app. But if you’re willing to go with the flow if something’s down, and you really prefer paper, just put any then-offline attractions at the end of your day.
