We will be at WDW on the first Halloween party night (August 7… so early!). I have 2 MK days planned. We typically spend the full day at MK and love our nights there. Initially I was like ok we won’t go on party day since it closes early and we aren’t going to party. BUT now I am having second thoughts bc I have read how low the crowds are. Is the same for the first party bc maybe an increase in influencers? Do I miss out on a second MK night? We have park hopper so maybe we could come for just the night after another park?
If we leave MK by 6 what should we do? We have TS dining plan so we could go eat somewhere. Where? At one of MK resorts or another park?
I would probably still do MK on the party day because the lower daytime crowds can make a big difference for rides and overall pace. Since you have park hopper, leaving around 6 and having dinner at a monorail resort sounds like a nice balance. Contemporary or Polynesian can be great for a relaxed evening after the park.
During party season you have very low crowds on party days, and higher than usual crowds (especially at night) on non party days. Did you see this blog?
I was at MK last year on the day of the first MVMCP party. Lines were relatively short during the day as is typical for a party day.
There were many influencers at the party. I saw the Ear Scouts guy arriving at the park that day and the Disney nerd in me wanted to ask if I could take a selfie with him, but I decided to leave him to his work and not ask. I didn’t think the influencer crowd negatively impacted my family’s experience at the party.
