MK morning of Disney Princess advice please

Help! Seasoned Disney goers but first time Disney parents with 1 yr old baby.

We were hoping to do early entry at MK, Sunday morning of Disney princess half marathon. Can’t find a straight answer from previous posts if driving, bus, or scrapping going to that park altogether is best. We’re staying at Swan.

Will be leaving at 12:30pm, no matter where we go, so want to make the most of it. MK feels like a must do on baby’s first time inside parks, but our plans are pretty set rest of weekend. Please & thank you for any insight :folded_hands:t3:

I would highly recommend using DISNEY (not Swan) transport. I would recommend walking over to Boardwalk and busing from there.

Many road closures or lane reductions will be in place that morning. Disney buses will be able to take routes that regular cars or ride share will not be allowed to access if that becomes necessary.

Plan extra extra time and pack your patient pants. You’ll get there!!!

I believe you would need to take the elevator from the Boardwalk to get to the bus with a 1 year old. If you don’t know where the elevators are, I think walking to YC might be easier.

That being said, since you would need to return for your luggage, I would go to any other park. Personally, I would pack my car go to AK, and leave from there.

Your baby won’t remember
MK is sensory overload, especially Fantasyland

At that age, watching the animals will be huge, plus there are plenty of little quiet corners

Also - again pegging the stimulation meter - Tusker House characters breakfast.

If you’re arriving at AK as soon as they’re letting folks into the parking lot, you’ll score a nice close short walk into the park.

Thank you! I think we’re gonna go ahead and opt for AK. We know we’ll be back eventually so can save MK for later.

Thank you! Just booked Tusker, very happy there’s a Crystal Palace replacement option that was a major pull of MK for us, and baby enjoyed the character dining on our last trip where we just did that & Disney Springs.

Thank you! Patient pants do not exist in the family, so this helping swing the decision for saving for MK for next trip.

Thought I was cleverly missing the “big” weekends, whoops!
